As a child, I didn’t dislike learning — I feared it. Books felt heavy, exams felt overwhelming, and memorising pages didn’t come easily to me. I would sit for hours trying to understand, often feeling anxious and not good enough.

Everything changed when I experienced learning in a way that felt clear, supportive and meaningful. I realised that children are not anxious because they lack ability, but because learning often doesn’t make sense to them. When concepts are explained in a way they can truly relate to, something shifts — they feel capable, they participate, and they enjoy the process.

This realisation stayed with me and became the foundation of Edumaame. Over the years, I have thoughtfully built a curriculum that brings clarity to complex concepts through stories, visuals, conversation and engaging, hands-on learning. Every program is designed around a child’s individual pace, strengths and reading level — because learning should feel guided, not pressured.

Today, Edumaame exists to create learning experiences where children move forward with clarity, confidence and genuine understanding — and most importantly, where they feel happy to learn.
